Forró Mare Nostrum is a three-day festival bringing dancers from across Europe together for a weekend of workshops, live music, parties and shared experiences by the Mediterranean.

Born in Brazil, forró is much more than a dance. It's music, connection and community. From its traditional roots to the many styles danced today, forró brings people together through close connection, improvisation and, above all, the joy of sharing the dance floor.

A growing island community

Forró has been growing in Mallorca for years, with a passionate local community built around regular classes, socials and live music.
Forró Mare Nostrum grows from that community, opening the island to dancers, musicians and teachers from across Europe and beyond.
